Discover Italy - Central - Brighton
We continue our Italian discovery deep into the heart of Italy, where the most recognised region lies - Tuscany. Here we find the famous Sangiovese grape, the leading variety that has a major part to play in all the reds from this zone such as; Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello and the 'Supertuscans.' We'll be looking at the Montepulciano based reds from Abruzzo and Molise too.
There lovely white wines in central Italy too such as Orvieto in Umbria, Pecorino from Abruzzo and Frascati from Lazio.
This tasting is designed to explore the diverse variety of wines available from Italy produced from their fascinating indigenous grape varieties most of which are only found within Italy.
Big wine to look forward to: Chianti Classico DOCG
