The WSET Level 2 Award Course (formerly known as the Intermediate Certificate) is suitable for anybody who has a serious interest in wine, and wishes to broaden their knowledge in a structured way. 30 wines will be tasted as part of the course. Students will receive a course book (a comprehensive guide to the wines of the world - illustrated with detailed maps & label explanations), a study guide (complete with maps, example questions, and forms for your own tasting notes) and laminated tasting card.

This WSET Level 2 Award Course is run by Sussex Wine School, an accredited APP. Your booking will be with Sussex Wine School. You will receive a confirmation email when you book and all course administration and communication including your exam result will be managed by Sussex Wine School.
The course will run on 3 x Saturdays (9.30am-4.30pm) on Sats 2nd, 9th and 16th Feb 2019. An additional 12 hours of private study is also highly recommended for this course. The Examination is 50 multiple choice questions, and lasts one hour. It will be taken during the afternoon on Saturday 16th Feb 2019.
The Fee of £395.00 includes:
- WSET course materials incl. ('Looking Behind the Label' course manual Study Guide, Specification book, and SAT ® Tasting Card)
- 30 well chosen wines including Champagne & Port
- 3 days of professional WSET tuition by an approved programme provider - Sussex Wine School
- We teach you the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine ®
- This will enable you to analyse wines objectively and consistently
- Examination fees / internationally-recognised certificate
Please Note: bookings for this course must be received no later than Friday 18th Jan 2019 in order to complete the registration process which will allow students to take the exam on the day of the course. In certain circumstances we may be able to accept a late application for the course, but you should contact us in the first instance to see if we are able to make provisions.
Special Educational Needs: please make us aware if you have a condition which may mean that you will qualify for additional help during the exam such as dyslexia before 2nd Jan 2019.
