Join us as we explore the diverse and fascinating world of beer.
Beer is experiencing a renaissance in the UK at the moment. This fascinating Introduction to beer evening will focus on what beer is (and isn't), how you make it, the role of yeast, the range of beer styles available, the role of packaging, how to taste and evaluate beer and beer and food pairing principles.

Tutor - Rob Parker from Beer & Brew in Brighton
Rob is an Institute of Brewing & Distilling (IBD) qualified Beer Sommelier, one of around only 160 in the world. He knows lots about brewing beer, but his passion is for tasting. He loves sharing his knowledge in a fun and entertaining way, and helping people develop an appreciation for lots of different beer styles. There’s no snobbery or preconceptions – it’s just about making really good beer as accessible as possible. Rob’s favourite beers are Belgian and German, and he visits both countries every year to find new ones. He loves trying new breweries and varieties, too, and is currently focusing on British beers, particularly those from Sussex.
